Cesar & Lalaine | 12.30.10

December 30, 2010

This is one of those rarest times when I was supposed to take some rest, celebrate and enjoy my birthday with my family and loved ones, yet I chose to shoot and capture this sweet couple’s best moments in life — their union of hearts. Me thought that next time somebody books me on my Birthday, I will cover their wedding for FREE, granting that it won’t be on a Saturday or Friday night! :) However, when I checked Dec. 30 this year, looks like it won’t be possible, and even next year. Tsk, tsk, tsk… unintentional, simply wrong timing when I thought of this idea.

Anyways, let’s just enjoy viewing Cesar & Lalaine’s images for now!

Toto & Ivy | 12.26.10

December 28, 2010

To date, this is my farthest wedding coverage ever since I started capturing the bests in life. The first experience was unforgettable. Too many lessons learned — team work, preparation, people skills, and even the business side of this trip. We look forward to the next destination wedding coverage and we would even surpass what we did on this one.

Thanks to my team: Oggie, Jet and Jun, please don’t stop making suggestions! Hahaha… :) To Toto & Ivy, we appreciate your hospitality and accommodation. It rained and limited us all to capture other moments but, we hope to serve you again in other events! Congratulations and enjoy your wonderful time together , SOON when you will be in the same place at the same time! Here are the chosen few among the thousands of great images.

For 11 years they’ve been together as sweethearts since high school days. Now, they are both working in the Middle East. They just came back this Holiday Season to get ready for their Jan. 2 wedding. Watch out for their other beautiful and colorful photos!

It’s really a learning experience to cover a wedding with a tinge of local Philippine traditions. I learned that both sides of the family gave and exchanged each other’s 6 peso-coins for the bride and groom to put inside their shoes before wearing them. There’s a promise of abundant blessings for this kind of practice.
Just after the Reception, the groom has to bring home his bride and introduce her to the whole family and clan — thus, I have to ride with them all the way from AUP to Batangas and capture more moments and traditions. The last thing I shot was when the newly weds entered their private room to signify their union and being one!

This was almost-cancelled shoot due to so many hindrances — mostly the unavailability of the vehicles. However, it would be too late to postpone the scheduled capture of one of the bests in life, the moments of love by this wonderfully matched, beautiful and lovely couple. All of these were shot at night at selected places in UPLB. The first three photos were unedited, I only reduced its size and put my signature.
